Belleview at Eastside

October 4th, 7:00pm – Belleview heads north to take on Eastside in a District 5-5A game. The Rattlers and the Rams each need this victory to help secure a playoff spot. Join us Thursday night from Citizens Field in Gainesville.

Final: Eastside def. Belleview 35-14

Eastside is very much in the District 5-5A race and a win tonight will put the Rams atop the league, pending Friday’s Crystal River-North Marion game. Sir Jackson played most of last week’s game at QB, although still hurting with an injured right shoulder. Junior RB Danzy Willis (262 yards) has shown flashes of elusiveness and WRs Richard Williams (15 catches, 237 yards, 2 TDs) and Keandre McCray (11-156, 2 TDs) and TE Seth Brown (17-151, 2 TDs) have all made some impressive catches… Click here to read more.

The Rattlers have had two weeks to prepare for their second game against a district opponent after a 28-7 rain-soaked setback to 5A-5 rival North Marion. Belleview can level its district mark with a road win over an improving Eastside squad that knocked off Dunnellon on Citizens Field in a similar Thursday night affair back on Sept. 20… Click here to read more.
