The Sonic Drive-In Player-of-the-Game for Thursday, Sept. 1, was Antoneo Wilson of the Eastside (Gainesville) football team.
Wilson only caught four passes, but the junior had a big game with 170 yards receiving and two touchdowns in a 26-0 win against Keystone Heights.
“The key was taking advantage of every opportunity we had and execute it the way the coaches planned it this week,” Wilson said.
Eastside, which improved to 2-0 for the first time since 2009, will host Buchholz (Gainesville) on Friday, Sept. 9.
