Nease (Ponte Vedra Beach), 58-0, in 6A-District 4; it was the Yellow Jackets’ most lopsided win in the series’ 32-year history, and they have outscored the Panthers, 100-0, over the last two years; sophomore Jahquise Russell carried 11 times for 80 yards and four touchdowns; St. Augustine ties a state record with its 45th straight district win
6. Fletcher (Neptune Beach) (7A) (4-1) – d. Atlantic Coast (Jacksonville), 29-16, in 7A-District 3; Senators scored three touchdowns in under three minutes
7. Bolles (Jacksonville) (4A) (4-1) – OFF; vs. 5A American Heritage (Plantation) this Friday, Oct. 10
8. Clay (Green Cove Springs) (5A) (5-1) – d. Ridgeview (Orange Park), 43-17, in 5A-District 4; sophomore RB Colin Wilson set the tone with a 65-yard scoring run on his first carry of the night just two minutes into the game
9. Columbia (Lake City) (6A) (5-1) – d. Orange Park, 28-0, in 6A-District 3; it was the third consecutive shutout for the Tigers, who host RV Ed White this Friday in what should be for the district title and runner-up spot
10. Dixie County (Cross City) (1A) (5-0)– d. RV Union County (Lake Butler), 30-18, in 1A-District 7; top-ranked Bears won in Lake Butler for the first time since 1986; RB Julian Robinson had 121 of his game-high 161 yards rushing in the first half as Dixie County built a 30-6 lead at the break
11. Trinity Catholic (Ocala) (3A) (4-1) – d. Maclay (Tallahassee), 55-16, in Class 3A-District 2; senior London Gaskin scored four TDs, including a 95-yard punt return for a score, a 74-yard scoring run and a 47-yard TD reception
12. University (Orange City) (8A) (5-1) – LOST at DeLand, 7-6, in 8A-District 2; first loss of the season for the Titans, who might have to run the table in the deep, seven-team district; turnovers, including a late interception to seal it, cost University, which was held to just 19 yards in the first half
13. Bishop Kenny (Jacksonville) (5A) (4-0) – d. Ribault (Jacksonville), 20-6, in a 5A-District 3 game; Crusaders overcome season-high six turnovers in rallying from an early 6-0 deficit; Charles Wade caught two TDs and forced three turnovers
14. Suwannee (Live Oak) (5A) (5-0) – d. Eastside (Gainesville), 37-14, in 5A-District 5; Bulldogs & RV Dunnellon tied atop the league standings with a 3-0 mark; Suwannee will travel to Dunnellon on Oct. 17
