A total of six nationally-ranked Florida teams highlight the ThePrepZone.com state baseball rankings. Plus, for the first time ever, there are now nine classes in baseball.
Traditional Sunshine State powers Southwest Ranches Archbishop McCarthy (five state titles in six years) and Miami Westminster Academy (11 state titles) are the top two teams overall in the all-classification rankings. They join Parkland Stoneman Douglas, Rockledge, Lake Worth Park Vista and Tampa Jesuit in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Baseball rankings.
The poll will be distributed weekly during the season. These are the first rankings of 2016.
