The Sonic Drive-In Player-of-the-Game for Thursday, Oct. 11, is Jacquez Jackson of the St. Francis Catholic (Gainesville) football team.
Jackson returned the opening kickoff 70 yards for a score, and then caught the 2-point pass, to give the Wolves an 8-0 lead just six seconds into the game en route to a 50-14 win.
The senior accounted for 24 points, catching two touchdown passes and three 2-point conversions.
The Wolves built a 42-6 lead by halftime, ensuring a running clock in the second half.
Jackson had the final score of the night, catching a 37-yard pass midway through the third quarter.
St. Francis Catholic (4-3) will host Admiral Farragut (St. Petersburg) for Homecoming next Friday night.
