The Sonic Drive-In Player-of-the-Game for Friday, October 30, was senior Scott Hysmith of the Dixie County (Cross City) football team.
The senior made big plays on both sides of the ball as Dixie County rallied from a 13-0 deficit to win at P.K. Yonge, 42-13.
He had an interception late in the third quarter after the Bears had just taken their first lead at 14-13. Hysmith then scored on a 1-yard run with 3:19 to play in the third quarter for a 21-13 lead.
“Scott played lights out,” said Dixie County coach L.B Cravey. “He had a great week of practice.”
