The Sonic Drive-In Player-of-the-Game for Saturday, February 19, is Jaden Campbell of The Rock (Gainesville) boys’ basketball team.
On Senior Night, Campbell helped lead the Lions to a 100-73 win against DME Academy (Daytona Beach). The seniors combined for 80 points, 13 assists, 24 rebounds, 10-of-10 FTs, and 10-of-19 from behind the arc.
Campbell finished with 17 points and four rebounds. He also added a steal. The senior finished 5-of-8 from the floor and 6-for-6 from the free throw line.
It was the 20th win of the season for The Rock, which also secured the No. 2 seed in the SIAA state tournament.
