What’s next: Oak Hall would host Jacksonville University Christian or play at Niceville Rocky Bayou Christian in Tuesday’s regional final; North Florida Christian would play at either school.
Extra bases: This is a rematch of last year’s regional semifinal in which Tallahassee’s Eagles, playing at home, dominated. The return of Katie Grace Olinger (0.90 ERA) in the circle has been huge for Oak Hall, which also has had power hitting from freshman Taylor Getman (.596), sophomore Emma Ries (.468) and senior Shelby West (.460), who signed with Santa Fe College on Wednesday. North Florida Christian, which reached the state tournament for the sixth time in 2014, lost to University Christian in 2015’s regional finals. Freshman Chloe Culp has 12 of the team’s 15 home runs on the season. The host Eagles, who have never reached the state tournament, last won a playoff game in 2011.
