While the offenses are getting most of the attention going into Saturday’s Class 6A state title showdown between No. 1 Gainesville and No. 4 Miami Central, it will be the tougher, stouter defense that will likely decide which team emerges as champion.
The Hurricanes’ defense, which has shown up in big wins all season, plans to cap the Rockets’ potent attack at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium.
