Friends of Vanguard Basketball and the Kingdom of the Sun,
We have obviously been affected this week by the passing of Coach Jim Haley, who, in some form or another, has impacted us all. I would like to thank a lot of you for reaching out with your kind words, thoughts, and prayers. I wanted to make sure you received this notice of his service in case you are able to attend.
The service will be held next Saturday, November 17th, at 3:00 PM on Jim Haley Court in the Gym at Vanguard High School.
Many of you have asked about sending flowers or other ways to honor Coach Haley. At this time, the family has not decided how they would like to proceed with this, but they will have something in place by early next week. At that time I will touch base with you and let you know their wishes.
