Trophy Shop Athlete-of-the-Week Presented by State Farm agent Mark McGriff
- May 6, Erin Anderson of the Columbia (Lake City) softball team. Anderson threw a no-hitter in the state championship game as she led the Tigers (28-4) to their first state title with a 6-2 win over Pembroke Pines Charter. She pitched 6 2/3 innings with six strikeouts and three walks. She also pitched 3 2/3 innings in the semifinals allowing no runs and no walks while striking out one.
