- August 26 is Jac’cara Walker of the PK Yonge (Gainesville) volleyball team. The sophomore outside hitter delivered the final two kills in PK Yonge’s upset of nationally-ranked Berkeley Prep (Tampa) on the road. Walker, who finished with 21 kills in the match, helped the Blue Wave rally from a 2-1 deficit to win 3-2. In three victories last week at Fort White, Berkeley Prep and Keystone Heights, the sophomore finished with 47 kills, 22 service aces, four blocks and 25 digs for the Blue Wave (3-0).
