An executive decision has been made by the owner of JVC Broadcasting, which also owns 104.9 FM radio in Gainesville, to cancel tonight’s Gainesville at Buchholz football broadcast. All JVC stations will run weather programming beginning at 6 p.m. They have cited safety as their No. 1 concern. We sincerely apologize.
Our next high school football broadcast on 104.9 FM will be Friday, October 14, when Gainesville visits Vanguard (Ocala) for a key Class 6A-District 5 game. Air time will be 7 p.m.

Oak Hall School has officially cancelled its homecoming football game against Aucilla Christian Academy on Friday, October 7th at 7:00 PM due to concerns associated with Hurricane Matthew. The game will NOT be rescheduled. The Eagles return to the field next Friday night when they travel to Orange Park St. Johns Country Day School for a 7 PM game time. Please be safe this weekend and Go Eagles.
