Outlook: Despite only three victories, the Leopards were competitive in their district and finished just a game out of earning a postseason bid. They have a new coach for the second consecutive year, and according to Vonada ‘some hungry leaders are beginning to emerge.’ Vonada takes over after coaching 18 seasons at his alma mater at Springstead.
Kline returns at quarterback, while Delaine (55 tackles) is back on defense. The success of this year’s team will be determined by how quickly players buy into the new system. It may come with some growing pains, as they experienced in the spring game with three turnovers in a 28-3 loss to Crystal River.
