Please send “daily” scores
this season to scores@theprepzone.com

2006-07 High School Sports Season Underway
The high school sports season is officially underway, with several sports programs participating in their first “fall practice” on Monday, July 31. Football, Swimming & Diving, Golf, Girls’ Volleyball and Fall Soccer are followed by Cross Country (Aug. 7) and Bowling (Aug. 21). While most people know that the number of contests in a regular season football schedule is 10 games, do you know the number of contests in other sports? Girls Volleyball (25) and Fall Soccer (25) lead the way, followed by Bowling (18), Golf (14), Cross Country (13) and Swimming & Diving (13). The fall season officially ends with the FHSAA Football Finals in Miami (Dec. 1-2 & Dec. 8-9).
